Code Of Ethics
This Code of Ethics is
established to maintain confidence in the honesty, ethics and
professionalism of information marketers on a global scale. As
members of the Internet Association of Information Marketers, you
agree to subscribe to this Professional Code of Ethics. By doing
this, the members give notice they recognize the need to encourage
fair and equitable practices among all who engage in information
marketing.
Violations of the obligations of
this Code shall be determined in accordance to the Bylaws, policies
and procedures of the Internet Association of Information
Marketers. Disciplinary actions shall be instituted by the IAIM in
accordance with Bylaws and Rules and Regulations established by the
Association. Such disciplinary action shall be final and binding
upon members and without recourse to the Association, members or
staff.

IAIM members agree to
operate with the highest credibility and professionalism in all
products they produce and publish and how they conduct their
businesses.

IAIM members shall honor
affiliates copyright agreements and not represent any other
person’s material as their own.

IAIM members will protect
the public against fraud and unfair practices and try to
eliminate anything that will bring discredit to the profession
of information marketing.

IAIM members agree to comply
with the standards of the association and to cooperate with
fellow members and any independent contractors.

IAIM members will promote
professional integrity in the information marketing industry by
demonstrating professional competency and standards.

IAIM members will utilize
professional business practices and honor the legal and
contractual rights of others.

IAIM members will ensure
rights to privacy and confidentiality of all information
received electronically.

IAIM members will maintain
the highest standard of personal conduct.
